Games and Sports

GAMES & SPORTS

Sports & Indoor Activities, apart from aiding the development of motor skills, physical stamina, flexibility, balance, and strength, help nurture team spirit and overall camaraderie – attributes that are greatly valued later in life.

BASKETBALL

Basketball is one of the most popular sports on campus, with the majority of students participating. Basketball contributes to a child's mental development, resistance, synchronization, and most importantly, conveys a sense of rigor. The institution has a basketball court with synthetic turf to meet the needs of basketball aficionados.

BADMINTON

Badminton is a fast-paced game to play, and excellent maneuverability is one factor contributing to the game's grace. As a result, our coaches supervise and assist students in mastering the fundamental technique of proper maneuvering. Along with footwork, students are introduced to several types of service marks, badminton shots, clears, smashes, all the tricks to hit the shuttlecock in the right way, and other essential techniques that are needed to win the game.

MARTIAL ART

Martial arts are tremendously satisfying for the students. While self defense tactics are frequently the first thing that springs to mind when choosing a martial art, many students quickly realize the benefits of physical training in overall fitness, positive attitudes, and psychological intensity. The level, non-slip area, equipped with mats, provides a risk-free environment for practicing martial arts. The safety and security equipment schedule, such as upper bodyguards, head guards, and gloves, ensures the students' security.

CHESS

Chess is more than a game of conquest, problem-solving, and competitive ability; it depicts the creative mind. We have a chess space with chess boards and the capacity for a large number of students to play simultaneously. Developing and honing chess skills provides our students with several mental and intellectual benefits. Chess requires ingenuity and the capacity to think strategically, anticipate your opponent's actions, and practice resolving each new set of problems. Chess frequently contributes to developing critical thinking methods and integrated mental abilities that apply to all aspects of life. It enables children to be inventive and imaginative while balancing psychological and logical thought. For these reasons, chess is a vital part of the school curriculum at BRGS

GYMNASTICS

The college has a large gymnasium hall equipped with various equipment such as rising steeds, bars, and floor coverings.

At BRGS, we follow the systematic approach to gymnastics: -Toddler Gymnastics (Age Group: 3-5 years old): Its primary objective is to develop children's motor abilities. Trainers instruct students with an emphasis on enjoyment, delight, and developing partnerships.

-Recreational Gymnastics (Age Group 6-7 years): It introduces fundamental gymnastics techniques such as tumbling on apparatus such as vaults, floors, and bars. Its primary objective is to develop both movement and proficiency. It is made enjoyable by a variety of games and circuits.

-Competitive Gymnastics: It provides training from Level 1 to Level 10, as well as direct exposure to contests at various zonal, state, and national levels. Its primary objective is to provide challenging gymnastics programs.

SKATING

Using an energetic pastime such as skating can assist a child in remaining fit and healthy. Roller skating, for example, engages practically every major muscle group in the body. It enables students to maintain a healthy and balanced lifestyle. Indeed, it is the optimal form of exercise for them. Educated specialists teach children skating lessons at the school's skating rink.

ATHLETIC

Marathons, races, and long jumps are all components of athletics that boost our students' spirits and motivate them to go more with better preparation each time they compete. These activities challenge their abilities, improve their endurance and muscle tone, and provide various physical benefits.

CAREFULLY CRAFTED SPORTS CURRICULUM

A carefully crafted sports curriculum at BRGS meets the need of every child, ranging from an early sports introduction program aimed at novice students preparing to compete in external competitions to advanced training for any student who wishes to pursue more advanced sports opportunities.

Students are exposed to competitions at inter-house and inter school levels to help them build their self-confidence and enhance team spirit. Sports and indoor activities that form an integral part of our extra curricular programs include:

FOOTBALL

Every child dreams of being the next Lionel Messi. Football is the most popular sport, and every youngster should have the opportunity to participate in it. Our football teams help our students develop character traits such as perseverance, self-control, confidence, teamwork, and cooperation.

Our programs address the five primary components of aerobics: warm-up, cardiovascular conditioning, muscular strength and conditioning, cool-down, and flexibility and extension. We allow students to choose their level of participation based on their fitness level.

YOGA

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to getting started with yoga in class. However, the critical point is to begin simply. What is essential is that you are sowing seeds in your children, eventually resulting in healthy and balanced practice. Yoga is an integral part of the curriculum at BRGS. We offer a spacious yoga area with a large capacity of students and floor coverings explicitly designed for yoga exercises. Students' childhood is the time during which they are confronted with several tasks. They must complete their college assignments flawlessly, plan for various tests, earn excellent grades, and serve their character. As a result, yoga exercises help students maintain their focus and increase efficacy. Numerous benefits accrue from yoga. It benefits not only our physical health but also our psychological well-being. It has been demonstrated to lower students' mental health concerns. Our yoga exercise programs provide the following benefits to our trainees:
